Metaphysical Healing Properties of Tourmalinated
Quartz
Tourmalinated Quartz is a combination of quartz and tourmaline. Typically the
tourmaline you find in tourmalinated quartz is black so the properties of both
quartz and black tourmaline apply to tourmalinated quartz.
I like to use tourmalinated quartz to help me become more balanced and
centered. I have an affinity for the black stones as I can sometimes be a little
flighty so I appreciate the stones that help me remain more grounded and
centered.
I love to have something tourmaline either worn as jewelry or a piece in my
pocket while I am working with my crystals and writing about them because all
of the different but subtle energies of the crystals can make me become off
balance. Black Tourmaline avoids that from happening to me. I also give this to
my children when they go o school to help them stay focused and grounded
while in school. A nice little tumbled piece is perfect to stick in their pocket or in
their bag.
Black Tourmaline is known to purify negative energy and turn it into positive
energy we can use. It is not just negative energy that is transmuted into positive
energy but also scattered energy as in the case when one is living in a
scattered environment, black tourmaline helps to ground and transmute that
energy as well.
