Greetings, and thank you for reading our newsletter!
This one is a little long, but we haven't written for a while, so we've got lots to
say!
I have been very sporadic with this newsletter since I began it a few years
ago, so I decided to start using Reiki to help me focus more on putting out
this newsletter on a regular basis. I was then guided towards asking some
other co-lightworkers in the Healing Spirit Community to help me put this
newsletter together. So as you will see this more often, you will also hear
about others, aside from myself, that are helping me share light and love to
everyone! We will be putting this newsletter out one to two times a month, so
enjoy reading them and thank you for your time spent doing so.
We plan on writing interesting articles and sharing our collective knowledge
with everyone who is called to reading our newsletters. I also plan on sharing
specials with the newsletter subscribers so you never know what you might
find in one! Most of all I hope that it brings you some happiness and light to
your day!

So here are some updates on me...
I am working on a very new and exciting project right now!
I have been working on it for quite some time, but it was not until just recently
that I feel it is finally coming all together. I don't want to hype things up too
much or anything, but I just want to say,,,, stay tuned to the next newsletter or
two because I will be unveiling something brand new to the world. (I'm
excited, can you tell?):)
As always, I am continuing my Reiki learning. I have added many new
attunements to my website, please check some of the newer attunements out

So heres the update on stuff going on in the Healing Spirit
Community...
We are also starting on May 15th to give out free Usui I attunements, at 12
Noon Eastern Time. Every 15th of the month we will be doing the same thing.
If you would like to sign up for a Free Usui I Attunement or Re-Attunement
then, please join the community, once you are there, you can sign up by
going to the forum called "Attunements" found on the first page. If you need
help, just email or private message me on the forum, you must be a forum
member to receive the attunement. Membership is entirely free (except for
the time you spend joining in! ;-))
Anamere, one of our Moderators, has launched a website recently, it's super
cool, she is creating a directory of healers, intuitives and more. Please have
a look at her page and contact her if you're interested in doing a link swap

What is a Cards of Destiny Reading? by: Anamere
A Cards of Destiny reading is a mathematically formulated
reading based on a ancient system with ties to the "Order of the
Magi" and the information encoded in a regular deck of playing
cards. It provides YEAR LONG INSIGHT. Not to mention...
It's Fascinating! Because a Destiny Card Reading can tell you so
much!
So what, you may ask, are The Cards of Destiny?
The Cards of Destiny is a system with ancient origins that was
originally rediscovered by Olney Richmond in the 1800's brought
back to life in a Book (The Cards of Your Destiny) Written by
Robert Lee Camp in the 1990's. Robert then created a
Computerized System to generate these reports in a simple
manner.
I say simple as this system is figured by basing a regular deck of
playing cards on our one year calendar. Then assigning a card to
each day of the year based on each of 13 numbers and their
numeric values, the four suits (totaling 52 which converts down to
7 in numerology... oh wait till I get going) and assigning a card to
your date of birth.
Ok I follow you, I think, but there aren't 52 days in a year everyone
knows that. However, there are 13 Lunar events, 13 Weeks in a
Season and 13 suits in a deck but some might find that irrelevant
to this explanation.
So, moving right along. When we take of the numeric value's of
the cards (Aces are 1's, then 2's and so on) and multiply each
numeric value separately by 4 (four seasons, four suits, four
elements..) And add them together guess what you get????
Did you say 365? THAT's....Close. It's 364 we have to also add 1
1/4 for the Joker and now you have 365. That said. A card is
assigned for every day of the year which can be placed in a chart
that looks something like the chart below. Each card has a
different Suit and numeric interpretation and will create your
"Birth Card" Based on this card we can then implement the Birth
Card into you yearly reading. By using a system of set charts that
will figure out every year of your life a blue print if you will of what
will be.
So as you can see having a simple version of this system can be
very beneficial in figuring Life readings. Having a full life reading
might be a bit much for some. So providing a 1 year outlook at a
time can be highly useful. (Please email me regarding Life
Spread Readings) You might find after going through your
Personal Reading that you feel more prepared for major
transitions in your life: Unexpected changes, Births, Death,
Travel, Relationships, Children, Illness, Moving, Career insight,
job opportunities, or challenges.

~ Distant Reiki Treatments by: Christine Radice ~
Reiki is spiritually directed life-force energy and it is not limited by
time and space. This means you can receive a Reiki treatment
even if you are not in the same place as the Reiki practitioner.
Reasons to have a distance Reiki treatment include:
Distance Reiki treatments are as effective as in-person
treatments.
At the time of your treatment, I recommend that you go to a quiet
place and lay down to rest. You may even want to play some
relaxing music. You may want to turn off your phone so that you are
not interrupted. It's not necessary to be in a quiet place in order to
receive a distance Reiki treatment, but you will be more relaxed
and will likely enjoy the experience more if you are comfortable.
During the treatment, I make a connection to you using Reiki
techniques learned in Reiki Level II. I generally begin by working
on your head and throat, and then working on the front and back of
the body. During the treatment, you may feel calm and peaceful,
and you may even feel the energy moving through your body.
Sensations experienced are similar to those described for in-
person treatments. The energy you feel is Reiki; I only act as a
pathway for the energy, the same as with an in-person treatment.
You draw in the Reiki you need and you are truly the healer here.
After the treatment you may feel relatively normal or energetic or
sleepy. Just as with in-person treatments, your body may need
time to adjust to the amount of energy it has taken in and to
detoxify any energetic blocks that were released during the
treatment. It is helpful to drink some extra water for the next day or
two to aid the detoxification process.
