September is a wonderful month for learning new things! For those of us that
are parents, the kids returning to school frees up some time for us.
September is a great time to prepare for the upcoming cool weather by
learning new things and connecting with our Spirit!
This newsletter is all about the things going on with the Healing Spirit
Community, Starlene, Anamere & Sami (the admins) on HSC, and our
Featured Member of the month, Chris Anderson. Be sure to read below

Hey Spirits, it's Starlene!
Anamere and I have been busy with the Healing Spirit Radio Show and
tonight is our third show! We share intuitive readings, advise, help people
heal, and "spiral up" during the show! Tune in to the show from 9-10PM

feel free to call in, we love connecting with others! You can also listen via the

is a wonderful way for you to get to know Anamere and myself more and
learn about who we are as a community!
I have been busy adding new crystals and gemstones to my RocksAndReiki.
com website. I started a new thing with my gems, I call them Especially
Special Rocks or ES Rocks for short. The special thing about these stones
is that I charge them in accordance with the cycles of the moon and again
with a particular type of Reiki energy to bring forth specific energies such as
prosperity, love, balance etc. I can even make a custom ES Rock for you if
you like, just contact me and let me know what you are looking for. So check
out my ES Rocks section on my eBay store and my ES Rocks section on my
RocksAndReiki.com website to find these sweeties! Just know that these
stones are not done in huge masses, they are hand selected by me and
charged specifically by me so if you see one you like, grab it as you may not
see another one like it again.

Hello Lights, It's Anamere!
September 2009 finds me busy with new learning experiences. With only a
toe dipped into this semester at school I'm in awe at how Spirit guides us to
our chosen paths. I've taken on 15 credit hours this semester and have
resigned my position as special education assistant. This accommodates
my school and family schedule better. Spirit has also been guiding me to
trust and become more available to facilitate others with their shift. I have to
say I couldn't be more excited to share the gifts of Spirit with you.
This exciting change opened the door for my spiritual mission as
Lightworker in great waves. It seems many have been integrating new
learning over the past year and are also embarking on their paths with great
strides. I have heard from several of you seeking guidance on your path and
leading you forward. I am humbled every time I see a Lightbeing waking up
to heed the call of Divine. These are very exciting times we are living in and I
am humbled to be sharing it with you. I am honored to assist you in anyway
that I can.

Healing Spirit Community Member of the month:
September 2009 ~ Chris Anderson
Artist, writer and intuitive, F. W. Chris Anderson has spent the last forty or
more years in a variety of creative and spiritual pursuits that have ultimately
caused him to place his identity away from the corporeal world and more
toward considering himself to be entirely existent as a spiritual being.
Educated in both the material realm of the prevailing society as well as
having been raised by grandparents (specifically his grandfather, a full blood
Potawatomi) who contributed Native American spiritual and ethical insight to
his growth, Chris now lives a life devoted to mystical spirituality and
unraveling the grand questions of life: who are we? Where did we come
from and where are we going to?
Chris’ current primary focus for the content of his life is the study and
teaching of A Course in Miracles, incorporating it into all of his endeavors.
He writes under the nom de plume Sanyasuk Andekshkwe (Silver Crow in
English translation) or alternately, as Onefeather, on other occasions,
depending on the message and style of his writing. His latest novel is an
adventure/quest with overtones of The DaVinci Code and the Celestine
Prophecy, kicked up a few notches, with an exciting outcome that involves
enlightenment, secret societies like the Illuminati, world religion and mankind’

The question for this month, comes from Susan in Washington DC:
What gemstone would be best to keep in your possession when you
are feeling a little depressed or down in the dumps?
Starlene's answer:
Of course all quartz can be programmed to be whatever you need them to
be but the gemstones that I would suggest to use are rose quartz (it always
lifts the heart), black tourmaline (a general feel good, earthy gem), rutilated
quartz (in particular if your feeling sluggish or tired), and/or sunstone (it
brings the warmth of the sun to you).
These stones are all great, using them in a combination or on their own. It is
my observation that those that feel depressed are often times those that are
ungrounded. So it might also be good to look at that in your life and use
grounding stones like black tourmaline, tiger eye and hematite to help bring
some grounding energy back to you. If being ungrounded is the case for you,
then a combination of a grounding stone and uplifting stone would be perfect.

Crystal Tip of the Month!
Crystal Elixirs
This article will explain what crystal elixirs are and how to safely make a
crystal elixir with any stone!
Crystal elixirs are good when you want to absorb the energy of the crystal
into your physical body. They are helpful at restoring the emotional, physical
and spiritual bodies helping you obtain new levels of consciousness. Crystal
elixirs help attune the physical body with the spiritual realms. By making a
crystal elixir and then rubbing it onto your body or even drinking it, you can
connect more fully with the energy of the crystals used to make the elixir.
Elixirs prepared in this way, are easy to make and requireonly very basic
equipment. All you need to make a crystal elixir is a glass bowl (or two),
distilled water, a patch of sunlight (or moonlight) and your crystal or crystals.
First set your intention of the elixir, for instance, I want to make an elixir to
help me heal something on my body. I can choose a crystal that helps
reduce pain or swelling or I also like to use quartz crystals if I cannot think of
a certain stone for the purpose that I want it. Quartz can be programmed to
do whatever you want it to do so that is a good one to choose. You can use
any type of crystal or gemstone though.
If you are using a gemstone other then quartz, you must do some research
and figure out if that crystal is poisonous or not. If it is one of the poisonous
crystals that you cannot consume (like malachite, azurite,vanadinite, galena)
or a type of crystal that shouldn't be in water (like selenite) then you can use
the indirect method to make your elixir. By using the indirect method of
making an elixir you simply place a smaller glass that has only the gemstone
in it, inside the larger glass with the water that you are charging to be the
elixir. If you are using quartz or another stone that you know is safe to
consume, you can just put the stone in the glass with water and put it in the
sun/moonlight for however long you wish.
Creating an elixir can be done creatively, you can add herbs or essential oils
to them too, just be sure that if you consume them or put them on your body
that everything you use in the elixir is non-poisonous!
